Shimla: Congress and CPM, opposition parties of Himachal Pradesh has brought a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur led BJP State Government on Thursday in Himachal Pradesh Assembly.

On the second day of the ongoing monsoon session, Opposition leader Mukesh Agnihotri said that the law and order situation in Himachal Pradesh has been deteriorated under the Jai Ram Thakur leadership.

Mukesh added that 354 murders, 1,574 rapes and 7,406 molestation cases have been reported in the state under the Thakur-led government. The debate in Himachal Assembly has been started at 11 am and likely to continue upto 3 pm. After 3 pm, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur may give his reply on the no-confidence motion.
