Movie Corner: The much-awaited gangster drama OG has finally arrived in theatres, bringing Power Star Pawan Kalyan back in action. Fans are celebrating the high-voltage moments, while critics are weighing the strengths and weaknesses. Here’s the Pawan Kalyan OG movie review with full analysis.

Story

Ojas Gambheer, popularly known as OG (Pawan Kalyan), grows up as an orphan in Japan. Trained in martial arts among samurais, his journey takes a dramatic turn when he lands in Mumbai.

There, he finds a mentor in Satyadada (Prakash Raj) and becomes the guardian of the port empire. However, conflicts force OG to walk away.

Years later, mafia don Omi Bhau (Emraan Hashmi) threatens to destroy Satyadada’s empire.

With his family in danger, OG returns to Mumbai. The story follows his emotional and violent battle to protect his people and face his toughest enemy.

Analysis

OG is clearly designed as a fan festival for Pawan Kalyan admirers. Director Sujeeth focuses more on mass elevations and action blocks than on the novelty of the plot.

The interval episode is a goosebump-inducing highlight, while the police station sequence showcases Sujeeth’s flair for grand visuals.

However, the storyline lacks freshness. Despite an interesting Japanese backdrop in the beginning, the rest of the narrative feels repetitive.

Pawan’s swag, style, and mass screen presence work big time for fans, but general audiences may feel the plot is predictable.

Thaman’s background score is the heartbeat of the film, making every action sequence thunderous.

Ravi K. Chandran’s visuals elevate the movie’s scale.

On the downside, the second half dips with a weak villain track, and the climax doesn’t fully meet expectations.

Plus Points

Pawan Kalyan’s stylish look and screen presence

Goosebump-inducing interval episode

Thaman’s powerful BGM

Ravi K. Chandran’s cinematography

Minus Points

Story lacks novelty

Villain track feels weak

Climax falls short of expectations

Final Verdict

⭐ Rating: 3/5

OG is a stylish gangster drama that serves as a mass feast for Pawan Kalyan fans.

With whistle-worthy moments, strong action, and solid music, it keeps the fan base happy.

But the predictable storyline and weak villain arc stop it from becoming a true game-changer.
