Pune: New Zealand vs India: India’s 12-year unbeaten streak in home Test series has come to an end.

It has broken when New Zealand secured a 2-0 victory in the three-match series.

In the second Test held in Pune, New Zealand’s spinner Mitchell Santner delivered an exceptional performance.

Mitchell Santner took 6 wickets and has lead his team to a 113-run win.

Chasing a target of 359 runs, India lost their captain Rohit Sharma for just 8 runs early in the innings.

However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill put together a solid partnership, giving India some hope.

But Santner consistently took wickets at crucial moments.

That made India to collapse at 245, thereby losing the match by 113 runs.

Santner was the star bowler for New Zealand, claiming seven and six wickets across both innings.

The other bowler of New Zealand Ajaz Patel chipped in with two wickets.

For India, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a commendable 77, and Ravindra Jadeja contributed with 42 runs.
