Chennai: India vs Bangladesh: After losing the first 3 wickets for 50 runs, India was rescued by the partnership of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant.

Both played cautiously, steadily increasing the score. Rishabh Pant scored 39 runs, while Jaiswal made 56 before getting out.

Following that, bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin (102*) and Ravindra Jadeja formed an unbeaten partnership of 195 runs.

At the end of Day 1, India finished at 339/6 in 80 overs.

Among the Bangladesh bowlers, Hasan Mahmood took 4 wickets, while Rana and Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed 1 wicket each.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and KL Rahul disappointed in the first innings.
