Only about one-quarter expressed satisfaction, while over four in ten felt dissatisfied and nearly three in ten expressed anger.
Despite concerns, many voters remain hopeful, with over six in ten saying America’s best days are still ahead, compared to about one-third who felt they are in the past.
The poll also indicated a decline in President Joe Biden’s approval rating, with around 40% of voters approving of his job performance, while a majority disapproved.
For weeks, the Harris-Trump race has been closely contested, with election forecasters giving Harris a slight edge in key battleground states, such as Pennsylvania.
