Earlier, Nitesh Kumar added to India’s medal tally by winning the Men’s Singles SL3 para badminton final, earning the nation its second gold medal at the Games.
On Day 5 of the Paris Paralympics, Yogesh Kathuniya brought home the first medal of the day for India by claiming a silver in the men’s discus throw F56 final.
As the competition continues, India remains in contention for ten more medals, with athletes like badminton star Suhas Yathiraj, javelin thrower Sumit Antil, and archer Sheetal Devi expected to compete later today.
